If anyone can get a good picture or PDF of the scanned wiring diagram,I can CAD draft it and save it into a more printer friendly format!
I'd love the opportunity to do it!

I have to be honest though... I am motivated by a selfish self interest to be able to print it and take it out to my car while working on it....

Why not use PrtSc and paste printed sheets together?

The other thing is that many of the individual circuits are drawn in the "Body Electrical System" chapter of the Service Manual.

I can't seem to get it to print or display properly... Pretty frustrating actually...
If I could CAD it up I could save it into a more print friendly PDF file.

It's an extremely large piece of paper, and I had to scan it in 6 or 8 "pieces". Adrian then Photoshopped them to remove distortions and overlapped them, for the display you see.

I have just tried to screen capture the display, and it worked for me. I enter CTRL-PrtSc, then I open Microsoft Visio and paste the screen-full into it, but you could perhaps post it into your CAD programme ( I have never discovered how to paste the capture direct into Photoshop - perhaps you can't?).

If I wanted to produce a file of the whole thing I would have to screen capture the half size display in four parts, then save each part as .jpg in Visio, so that I could import each into Photoshop. Then I would I would crop the top and bottom browser and OS content from each .jpg and combine the four.

If I just wanted to print each quarter, I would print from Photoshop prior to the combining.

Btw, the above works for WinXP. With Win7, I need to have Visio open before you capture the screen, and (on my HP laptop), I think it's ALT-PrtSc. You may have to experiment a bit.

I actually find the "subsystem" circuit diagrams in the Service Manual more useful for most purposes. They are mostly in Section 8.

Ian brother.. I just can't seem to get the dog gone thing to display properly...
If you have the photo shopped copy, if you send it to me via email, I can for sure get it to come up into AUTOCAD.

Ok, Jeff, I'll email you four "quarters" as .jpgs, and you can import them into your CAD and adjust them to overlap correctly. I'm a little busy right now, so it'll take a day or so.

Did you ever manage to sort the wiring diagram in CAD?

I have access to a plotter, and would be much easier to read if printed bigger.
