It may look like it's all froth but this fun micro-machine can invigorate like double expresso.

Not all tiny Japanese sportscars have to look like bedsite cabinets on wheels, and here's the proof. The cute little Cappuccino may conform to Japan's K-class tax bracket and engine capacity but it has sweet shrunken looks and is a real hoot to drive. Its 64bhp, 657cc three-pot turbo engine may not sound much but in such a wee car it gives 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds. Add rear drive, a short throw five speed 'box and a versatile removable hard top and smiles are always on tap.

Sold in Japan from 91 to 97 it was intended for a home market only. But Suzuki GB eked out 1110 cars which they type approved for the UK and sold from late 93 until September 1995.

Those limited numbers mean the Cappuccino also enjoys a certain rarity now
