Ah yes but -

The modern city name, "Tuscaloosa", was derived from the old name, "Tuskaloosa".
In the Languages of the Creek and Choctaw indians, "tushka" means warrior and "lusa" means black.

Andrew - well researched, Sir :!:

Nick - I wish I could claim I had Black Warrior in mind, but to be honest - it was the "tusks".

And ah' don' have noa truck with these new-fangled spellings - Tuskaloosa was ok fer mah granpappy, so it's good enough fer me

Nick - "You were meant for me" - did you mean to post under another topic perhaps?

Easy to miss Ken - especially if you remember it being called something slightly different as I've done myself on a couple of occasions!

It was not there when I looked - like General MacArthur, it has returned.

Hi,

Please allow me to explain the association

SONG ARTIST : JEWEL KILCHER

HIT SONG: : " YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME"

Perhaps you gentleman should research the association before concluding I am confused .

I love it when you guys are baffled

Ah but we were only baffled and confused because we were expecting a WORD association - ipso facto one word -
rather than a song title which - though correct in one way is not a word association in the terms of the topic. :D :D :D

Yes, I agree that it is not a one word association obviously, nonetheless an association is apparent. Furthermore, there have been many one or more worded replys posted to a word topic in the past.

AEROFLOTATION ??? - From my research of six online dictionaries including OXFORD and MERRIAM-WEBSTER this word does not exist. Perhaps it should read AERO-FLOTATION

Please explain Ken
