Is the steering column adjustable?

Does anyone know how to adjust the steering column of an Autozam AZ-1? In short, can it be moved up and down [in a vertical plane], or telescopic?

I'm asking this because the high door sills make it a little troublesome to get in- or step out of the car - especially when the steering column can't be adjusted.
