Just to give the game a kick start again after a number of German/Yiddish hold-ups have slowed things down this was what sprung into my mind

Yes OK but not Doris Day. Surely "Something Stupid" was a duet by Frank and Nancy Sinatra (1967)?

"Something stupid" was also sung by Doris Day - my aunt has a 45 rpm single with Doris Day singing - it's just that the duet was the better known version!

Malteasers Beer

That's the second or third time that Beer has been the first word to jump into my mind but I can't use it as it's already been used by Chris on page 14

You probably all know the trick of pouring a few peanuts in your beer and watching them rise up and down as little bubbles stick to the salty coating. Well it works a hundered times better if you pour some Malteasers in your ale. They bob up and down as the honeycome gets beerlogged but you also get the benefit of melted chocolate in the beer. Sounds awful but don't knock it till you've tried it

Seriously though, if you can't remember what has gone before you can always search for the word you are thinking of using just to check.

I maintain a MS Word document containing all the entries, and search it if I'm uncertain.

Those of us who's fridges weren't made by lucas don't have that problem - Our beer is served at under 5C, so the Chocolate tends to harden
