Suzuki Cappuccino features in the Top 100 best value classics

#61 - "Tiny turbo-charged engine gives sprightly performance, while well-sorted suspension gives excellent handling. Snug, but if you like sports cars small, try one."

Which classics can claim to offer the best value for money?

In a major Classics magazine review, Tim Norgan explains how they have chosen their 100 top cars....

"Each car was assessed in six very important categories - average cost to buy, running costs, its classic appeal (what you might call the 'wow' factor), practicality, desirability and fun. We then asked dozens of CLASSICS staff, contributors, hangers-on, enthusiasts, experts, know-it-alls and pundits to rate each car purely in terms of personal appeal - just how much do you want one of these on your drive? That gave us input from some of this country's top classic journalists based on many years of experience... some of the cars on the list will strike you a obvious choices; there's also a clutch of up and coming classics that you should consider searching out while their values are at rock bottom prices...

For information the top 5 classics were:

1. Ford Escort RS2000
2. Daimler 250V8
3. Audi Quattro
4. Triumph Dolomite Sprint
5. Lotus Esprit
6. VW Golf GTi
7. Austin Healey 'Frogeye' Sprite
8. Triumph GT6
9. Jaguar E-type 2+2
10. MG Midget

So in all, a good position for the Suzuki Cappuccino (one of only three Japanese cars to feature in the top 100) considering the thousands of cars that were available to shortlist for the 100 league table.
