Woo hoo hoo hoo

Postby Sue Stokes » Fri May 05, 2006 14:43

I'm one happy bouncer today, when I got my Cappo just over a year ago its one bad patch was drivers side rear wing, just a very slight bit of rust and I've been saving my pennies ever since to get it seen to.

Took it in on Tuesday and collected it this morning, unknown garage and not sure how well they'd treat her but I have to say they have done a cracking job and as they are only body repair shop they introduced me to the garage next door who I'm told is a great mechanic and who'll be glad to take care of her other needs.

Only fly in the ointment is the recommendation that I have the car waxoiled!!! I paid another garage to do this shortly after buying her! seems they just did a quick coat underneath and this recommendation is for a more thorough waxoiling under the wheel arches, door sills etc and the quote is £10 cheaper than last years quicky waxoil. :x

Still I'm happy to have found two nice doctors to take care of my baby for me. :D

So, who are these super heroes!!!

I'm sure other Cappos down there would like to know.

There's so many bloody awful garages out there, (like the waxoyl chaps) it's nice to hear of a good result. :D

Sometimes you walk into places and you can almost hear the click of spurs. :cowboy:
(Please forgive previous pun)

P.s. Is the new aerial fitted yet? Any pics?

I don't think there are many as far South as me but if anyone wants to know I'd gladly pass the info if they contact me.

Aerial not out of its packaging yet. I wanted to wait until the body/paint work repairs had been done, then I had a family wedding and a week working in Torquay so hopefully this weekend I'll get it fitted and take some photos.

Thanks Lisa, I was worried that folk might think I'd defaced my Cappo but I think he looks cute on the sides like that.

I am a bit of a Tigger nut I'm afraid :D

Glad the photos turned out okay I wasn't sure I'd got them right

I thought it was a score card for the number of cats you'd run over..

Neat aerial Sue....

How's Helston? Haven't been there for years... I'm ex Culdrose and used to live in Durgan but also lived in St Cleer near Liskeard as a kid..

Cars are a blank canvas, they let you express yourself :D

All together,
Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, the most wonderful thing about Cappos, is they're the only one!!!

I think we've all got a bit of Tigger in us :D

Helston's fine ta. Been quite a nice sunny day today and as always the whole county is very laid back, we'll all get to it d'rectly.

My new son in law is a Culdrose but he's RAF so just on loan :)

You weren't heading down to visit her over the weekend were you, we saw a Red Cappo heading in to Helston on Sunday as we were heading out and we passed it again on the way back

We live down by Coronation Boating Lake :D I've not been Spingoed yet

Not us I'm afraid.

I know the boating lake, been for a walk down there a time or two.

You must try a Spingo, but leave the rest of the day free

Just one Lisa? That's a bit girly... I'd say about six... Don't bother about drinking and driving.... You'll never remember where you left your Cappo anyway
