The 'over-the-top' way everyone panics these days about a bit of the white stuff

Yep... as you can probably imagine up here we're always amused by the reaction to a drop of snow further South.

Hi Dick - I reckon there's just you and me on this site these days!

Worcestershire closed all its schools today (decided yesterday) - I don't think there's 'any' lying snow today - just slushy flurries.

Are you involved in the power grid protests Dick - the Orkney fiasco and the transmission line etc?

I knows - it's been very quiet...

We've got snow but only about an inch..All the main roads are clear and our local school hasn't shut.

No - I'm not involved with these grid protests. It will be approved anyway so all those protestors are really wasting their time.

You don't reckon it's worth a go - for once I do.

This whole thing is a commercial enterprise so governments 'might' be pressured to intervene. I believe there's already been 18,000 protests against the transmission line of 200 foot pylons marching across the most scenic areas of the UK.

What's happening in Orkney and across the Highlands is a crime I reckon and makes the clearances look like a tiny blip..

Being able to read The Latest Score on the website :)

Our hard copy of the March issue hasn't arrived yet, so it was a real treat to be able to see it online - Thanks for that! 8)
