A long and drawn out return jouney home from Cornwall (today). with traffic jams at Launceston, Bridport, Dorchester, Southampton and Arundel. My outbound journey to Cornwall was so so different the other week.... grrrrrrr

Classic car snobbery!
Totally blanked in the sports car & convertible catergory in the display arena.

...
I can't get my motorcycle running, It feels like a bad 30's serial, like Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers, every step of progress ends in a cliffhanger for the next day.
You fix one thing and you instantly run into the next failure and you hope you can resolve it the next day, and then the whole thing starts again...with a new unforseen issue.

My Cappuccino had a bad case of overheating... The engine does not run. In the worst case scenario, a complete engine overhaul would be a deliberate understatement for: a complete new engine needs to be fitted.

And I still hate my job,

On the upside... job application interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Jaimy,

Good luck for the interview.

Don't give up on the Cappo - it's probably something quite simple.

I haven't given up on the Cappo, but I doubt it is something simple.
The engine doesn't turn and I have a massive leak in my coolingcircuit....
Which might be the result of the overheating, as still have coolant in the reservoiw, but not in the radiator.
I suspect that the reason for overheating lies in the lack of circulation between the reservoir and the radiator.

But hey, since I won't be driving around, I can actually do some rustbusting :-)

BTW: anybody have experience with overheated engines? Where to look for what kind of damages?

Off Topic:
That went pretty well, I'm up for the next interview. Last one was with the Operations Manager,
next week will be with the Department Manager aka the One I Will Report To Directly, if hired.

And, YACHT (a Randstad Company) contacted me for an intake interview with ASML.

If anything annoyed me today: my job. But not as much as last week. And my bike still has carb issues.
But... the "up" things (the 2 job interviews) make the annoying bits very very tolerable :-)
Darn... If I was't such a pessimist I would almost say I'm happy! ;-)

- Just came back from Singapore; the job left unfinished
- I seriously don't like the Holidays (the upside is: I have no family-obligations, neither my parents, nor in-laws)
- I have a job-thing to do next Tuesdays
