Hi Dick - I reckon there's just you and me on this site these days!
Worcestershire closed all its schools today (decided yesterday) - I don't think there's 'any' lying snow today - just slushy flurries.
Are you involved in the power grid protests Dick - the Orkney fiasco and the transmission line etc?

I knows - it's been very quiet...
We've got snow but only about an inch..All the main roads are clear and our local school hasn't shut.
No - I'm not involved with these grid protests. It will be approved anyway so all those protestors are really wasting their time.

You don't reckon it's worth a go - for once I do.
This whole thing is a commercial enterprise so governments 'might' be pressured to intervene. I believe there's already been 18,000 protests against the transmission line of 200 foot pylons marching across the most scenic areas of the UK.
What's happening in Orkney and across the Highlands is a crime I reckon and makes the clearances look like a tiny blip..
