advice on Fitting new eagle f1 tyres

Postby Martyn Collins » Sat May 12, 2007 14:45

Having looked at the forums i see that i can fit Goodyear F1 GS_D2 tyres with a size of 185/60 r14 on to standard cappuccino rims.
Is this the case or is there any spacers needed or any problems i could get by doing this.
Are these the best tyres to get for my standard rims. i do about 4000 dry miles a year and i take corners hard and fast.

Hi Martyn, we have Yoka A539s on ours, that we find do the job just nicely, but by many the F1 is considered to be tyre of choice. :D

I believe that no spacers are required, just fit and enjoy. ( within the speed limit ofcourse :D )

We have fitted the Goodyear F1 GS_D2 tyres with a size of 185/60 r14 on to both our cappo's the difference is very noticeable  No spacers or any mod's required in fact it corrects the built in speedo error considerably.
