At last the summers has arrived! Not a cloud in the sky.
Garden veg are flourishing. Cappo is clean & shiney! Cold cans of cider in the fridge. Life is good.

Yup, three hours fishing in the bright sunshine on the breakwater today, but only a single conger eel. Luckily, it got away!

Make the most of it it won't last past Monday
We are forcasted 29 degrees for Monday but on Tuesday we will be 12 degrees hotter than you in the UK
How about you Ian? your nearer France. We have not seen rain since March, all the veg are flourishing but needing water every day.

Much the same here. The Jersey Royal Potato crop is down in weight about 50% due to the lack of rain, but the quality is superb. We are certainly watering the garden every day, and the farmers are watering their fields of seed potatoes (can't afford to lose them!)

FROM FREEZIO to SCORCHIO!

I thought that I lost my 3 year old chamomile lawn thanks to the snow and ice earlier this year and over the past week, small green tufts have sprung up, so like everyone else I am watering too!
