F1 Silverstone 4-6 July

Planning a visit for my Dad's 60th, and pondering over which area to sit in/is the "Club Silverstone" worth the extra money?

Has anybody been there/can give any recommendations/avoidations?

We've raced there and I would say that from the point of view of seeing the best of the action then that would be a good place to watch from. In fact we were there a couple of weeks before the 06 Grand Prix and snuck up onto that stand whilst it was still being built..

That said, given the cost of the tickets you'd probably be better off buying him a new large screen LCD TV and watching it on that !!
