Colin McRae

I've just read on another forum that Colin McRae has been killed in a helicopter accident near his home.
It would appear that his 5 year old son, Johnny, was also on board.
What an absolute tragedy.

We once saw him at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed, and he was truly remarkable.
By all accounts he was a great guy too.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

A sad day for all motor sport fans. I live local to his town ,we have lost a local hero and a well loved and respected man.

There was a one minute silence held at Knockhill last Sunday during the race meeting and some of the drivers even put black tape on their cars as a mark of respect.

Tis indeed very sad. He was a strong supporter of Scottish Motorsport and will be sorely missed by everyone involved in it. But the real tragedy is for his family of course.
