Yes - it's quite a gentle one (at 23:14) - like smoke rather than the hard elipse of a solar eclipse... nice to actually see through the cloud though

Just after midnight and it's just starting to "un-clipse".

I can understand why the ancients found these things rather scary. A dull red-brown moon is very strange.

Nice pic Ian.

There's something very "primitive" about eclipses, I went over to France in 1999 for the total solar eclipse. Weird experience, if you get the chance to witness one it's well worth the effort.

....oh yes, I also bought a car in Belgium while I was there! :lol:
