My Best Joke

A grumpy old man was sitting on his rocking chair at Christmas, back and forth, back and forth. There was a knock at the door so he got up, opened the door and looked around. He couldn't see anyone. Just as he was about to close the door he looked down and saw a snail. He booted the wee snail down the path and slammed the door shut.

Following Christmas there he was again, rocking away, back and forth when he heard a knock at the door. When he answred the door, he looked down and saw the wee snail who said "what did you do that for!!"
