Who was the guy singing "Shadd uppa your face"?

This guy stopped Ultravox from being #1 with the classic "Vienna".

I'm of the opinion that "music" and "80s" don't generally belong together in the same sentence, but I will give more than a passing nod to Dire Straits.

Viva the (pre-punk) 1970s; Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, ELO, Focus, Jethro Tull, Led Zepplin, Manfred Man's Earth Band, Queen.

Anyone remember The Enid, Greenslade or Groundhogs? Or how about John Otway and Wild Willy Barrett?

Gradually getting better - I saw the Groundhogs live - Tony McPhee really rocking it.

What about Yes, Wishbone Ash, Tull, ELP, Pink Fairies, Judy Collins, Led Zepp, Argent and Focus!!!

Ditto, When not touring state to state, supported some rather well known acts... Uriah Heep, Motorhead, Sweet, Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, to name a few.

Not really eighties but!!!

Well for me, you really can’t beat the Rolling Stones in their early days. They were so what’s the word ‘Raw’ and I could really feel their music

And I have to confess that I have spent many hours individually (can’t really remember if they were days hours or whatever) with Ginger Baker, and Paul McCartney and number one wife.

This was when Ginger and the McCartneys were in Nigeria in the early 70s

If you listen to Wings ‘Band on the Run’, well I was there !

I have photos and no, they are not for sale, and never will be, neither are the ones of Ginger Baker, stoned in our Flat in Apapa, Lagos as always. Ginger was framed to do with drug running, and busted ,and managed to escape, then turned to, would you believe it, Polo. But it’s a long story and well documented

A lot of people will ask who is Ginger Baker. Well, the only way to do justice to him is do a Google under ‘Cream’. They were the original Super Group...
