They use a high speed catamaran and it is absolutely AWESOME!!!!
We used them last year when we went to the Nurburgring Nordschleiffe.
( Not in the Cappo though)
It's an all aluminium vessel and it flies, with huge water plumes out of the back, and if you're really lucky, they'll let you have a look in the engine room.
All in all a fantastic experience!
We were also impressed by their pricing system. At the time, and it may still apply, the amount you paid depended on how full the boat was.
If the boat was full, the fares were lower, and it's also nice to support the underdogs.
They only go from Dover to Boulogne, but I think they are trying to expand to other ports.
Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
