The Suzuki LC

Suzuki's latest car shown at this year's Tokyo Motor Show is really a

Little Charmer

The Suzuki LC (Little Car) Concept is a two-seater powered by a 660cc 3 cylinder DOHC engine, paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The design is loosely based on Suzuki's very first passenger car from the 1950's - the Suzulight which was only available for sale in Japan.

What else could LC stand for :?:

Presumably that engine is based on the same one in the Cappo? Didn't realise they still built it...

LC = Loadsa Charisma :lol:

Here's some more,

LC =lacks clutchpedal
low coefficient
lousy childroom
letterbox compartment (see rear)
low cost
luvly carpet

Reminds me of the Simcas of old.

Now wouldn't a drop top of this be good!

Actually a roll back roof like the 2CV would be really neat on this car. Keep it more rigid as well...

LC = low consumption !

Yes, if you reshape it a bit, and change it to RWD, and sports suspension - you'd have a 2+2 Cappo :bounce:

What do you think inspired the shape of the Suzulight Van (2nd pic) :?:

But for sheer good looks, hand it to the Alto Lapin (last pic) :D

Nice car,
It is an exact copy of the early Suzuki Fronte. See my article in the latest SCORE.

Well, if Suzuki are re-cycling the Fronte, maybe they'll re-cycle the Cappo next :twisted:

Sounds like Suzuki want to follow in the steps of Nissan and their Figaro :?

What is it with Figaro's at the moment - there are now 7 parked in close proximity to my house.

About a year ago, they were hardly ever seen!!!!
