There's no set topic at the water cooler - just nothing too serious - chop and change subjects at will - go off on one - argue - do a U-turn – ask for help - gossip - flirt - tell jokes - play games etc etc. Whatever YOU want. Just remember to keep it decent & legal

Chill out at the water cooler - relax - take a break - join in

The water cooler's definitely NOT the place for serious talk of any kind - there's plenty of other forums in which to be serious/focused.
It's like nightime just now over here - storm I think BIG raindrops starting to fall - birds all hiding....it MIGHT be a Vogon Constructor Ship I suppose
Out of a lovely morning, my Cappo has just been battered by the sort of downpour that could have dented the roof! It only lasted about 3 minutes though. Good old English weather.
No better weather down here in the deep South either I'm just hoping for at least some dry spells this weekend so I can get the car out of the garage again. If not then drive in the rain - I will!!
POETS day's always better than most week days though

You might have done... Have to say I didn't see a Cappuccino about - I'd have noticed. I haven't even spotted our area reps one about yet My partner saw one a week or so back though, near Truro.
Did you happen to see the Internet Cafe Elizabeth? If it was a week day my office is at the back
I'm planning on working there for a year or so - I like the place.
The plan is to teach in China at some point but I want to get used to the job without the massive culture shock. I might be an expert at changing career, but I have no misconceptions about this one being easy.
No national curicullum issues either, as I'll be teaching adults. People eager to learn - imagine that!
Hi Mike... I know someone who taught for a while in Slovenia.
Also someone else who taught in China - BTW did you know the Uni of Nottingham actually has a campus over there?? Read it here
Re the culture shock - it is there but nowhere near as great as say 10 years ago.
Here's a typical skyline... perhaps not exactly what's usually imagined NINGBO

Sue, didn't notice the cafe, but am planning on heading down that way in Sept time so will check it out! You wouldn't have noticed my Cappo cos went in my peugeot - can't fit everything plus dog in Sukie no matter how hard I might want to!!
Ken - you'll be pleased to hear the sun is beating down instead of raindrops beating down - so going home topless (so to speak!!)
