Paint codes silver car

I have searched the forum but with no success. I want the paint code for the black roof panels on our silver car.
The plate shows 1VND57.
Am I right to say that this indicates 1VN for the mercury silver body colour and D57 for Panther Black for the roof??

Just deciding whether to wrap the roof panels and roll bar in something exciting, or respray them original - they are looking a bit scratched.

Hi Collette,

Just seen this - I think you are correct - I had a bit of a hard time trying to decipher it myself. My car is the same and I have had new sills etc made and the whole car has been resprayed. Following that I had it wrapped in clear gloss PPF. No regrets!
