Emergency flare mounting bracket

Hi. Does anyone know what position the JDM-spec emergency flare bracket should be mounted in the passenger footwell side of the Cappo? In short, should the flare be positioned horizontally or vertically?

Horizontal. It is shown on Page 4-10 of the Owners Manual - click Manuals at the page top.
