Autozam AZ-1

Hi everyone. Does anyone out there know whether the AZ-1 and/or Suzuki Cara were ever fitted with an [optional] automatic gearbox like the "Series 2" (EA21R) Cappuccinos?

I don't think so. Less than 5,000 were manufactured, so the development cost would have been too great.
