Front brake calipers

Hi,

I've noticed that on my front brake calipers are 'L' and 'R' characters. But on the driver side, there is the 'L' and on the passenger side there is 'R'. Does this makes sense? (left, right)
It is also strange, that the brake hoses are going like an S-bend to the pipe and not like a 'U'. In the manual, the pictures show also that the outlet from the caliper is pointing upwards and not downwards.
What is correct?

Hi Mark,

The calipers are on the wrong sides, and have been mounted upside-down in consequence.

As the flexible pipes have been bent into a shape not intended, it may be advisable to replace them when swapping the calipers over. It would also be a good idea to replace the pads at that time.

I'm not sure that is is possible to make the same error at the rear, but it would be an idea to check
