Red Cappuccino M542 VST

Postby Adrian Furniss » Fri Oct 16, 2015 16:27

The original owner of red Cappuccino M542 VST has contacted me in the hope that he can track it down with a view to re-acquiring it.

He sold it in the Glasgow area in 1998, and understands that it is currently SORNed.

If you are the current owner, and wish to sell, then please post here or send me a Private Message.

It had an MOT in 2011, and you can check the MOT certificate number here
https://mot-history.net/
I don't know if you can trace where that MOT was done from the number.

Thanks for that Murray but it appears not to be traceable from the cert' no. We would need the test station number.

A previous owner of a vehicle can request current owner details if they can convince the DVLA they are genuine, see option 1B on V888 form here. Costs a fiver.

Murray, thanks again. It appears to hinge on ‘reasonable cause’. I will advise the original owner.

Murray, that's interesting for 2 reasons :-

1. C4PPU seems familiar.

2. It would sense if M542 VST preceded C4PPU, though the reference clearly indicates the other way round!

C4PPU certainly seems familiar, can't remember if it's been in one of the magazines or something. I guessed that one of the owners has transferred the personalised reg to something else and put the original reg back on (maybe??).
