Blow off valves

Postby James Suthern » Mon Dec 09, 2013 07:31

HI, I am in need of a new blow off valve. The one in the car isn't stock so I'm not worried if I need to get another aftermarket one. Just need to find one... any suggestions?

Thanks
James

If you want to revert to stock, there are some Cappos being parted-out on EBay at the moment.

Hi James, welcome. Pop into your profile and add location etc, it's always a help for everyone to know where you are. :D

Have you seen the online manuals yet? Right at the top of the page there is a heading list including "manuals", where you can see the entire official Suzuki workshop manual and the parts lists. Worth a look.

Actually, better than a pic - Fig 13 in the EA11R Parts Catalog gives a much better view. The only thing it does not show is that Item 33 connects to the smaller of the inclined ports on Item 13. It routes the output from the compressor back to the input, effectively reducing the load on the turbine to almost zero, to keep it spinning during gear shifts.
