Boot Rack Instructions - Car Wash Warning

The translated instructions forbid machine washing with the boot rack in place. This may mislead some into thinking the auto car wash is ok without the boot rack. No way. Page 9-1 of the Owners Manual warns that the aluminium (alloy) panels are too soft.

Anyway, you get to appreciate that lovely shape when you wash it by hand

Ken & l went through a brushless car wash in Adelaide with no leaks , dents, or scratches. We normally don't use them but had no time or a bucket when we visted the Adelaide Cappa owners. Just very LUCKIE l guess.
