Well done, Andrew :bounce:

A whole new world opens up for sourcing Cappo goodies 8)

I'm repeating the URLs here and making a sticky, so one can find it easily.

For the bidding service : http://www.japanbid.cc/

or http://www.j-garage.com/

For Cappuccino parts
http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search?sb=desc,cat&desc=%a5%ab%a5%d7%a5%c1%a1%bc%a5%ce&cat=26318&auccat=26318&acc=jp&f=0x12&alocale=0jp&mode=1

Just for the record, the club makes no warranty as to the service or the goods on offer - use at your own risk!!!

EDIT:
Sorry, I didn't make it clear - you post the url of the auction in which you are interested (in our case the cappo one) into the window in the japanbid site and click "translate".

Absolutely fascinating looking at the goodies on offer, and reading the items.

I wonder what this means - it was on an ECU item?

"There is a possibility that Kiz Yogore has adhered and refrain from the tender of nervous one, please. "

Is it perhaps blood?

Thanks, Ian.
Unfortunatelly I've never bought through the japanbid.cc, maybe will try them in the future though.
I mostly bought the parts through http://www.j-garage.com/.
He is a nice japanese fellow, Yoshitaka Ikeda. Very open to communication, very helpfull. You can even order original suzuki parts through thim. I've found that his commision was lower that on japanbid. He can offer different delivery options, packing was very good.
I think even the IRS can get things from auctions.
Sure japanbid is huge, but we got to have some options to choose from and we have them ! :)

Going to import a few bits from this auction site via a very helpful Yosi.

One simple question, will I more than likely get clobbered import tax?

Just to let you all know, my Cappo is to be resurrected after being off the road for best part of two years :D

Hi,

I'll share my Japan bid expertience.
I´ve just recieved parts I bought trough Japan bid and I can say they have a great service, but it's not for free, theey charge you 15-20 % on top of all cost depending on payment method. I have bidded and won items from October to December and the have stored the items until I got all I planned to by and the the shipped it all to Sweden in two lots as I bought complete exhaust system, trunk spoiler and varius styling items.
They only take up 10% of the payment value so the tax is almost nothing. The transport from japan is less then a week.

Cheers Lars

The URL seems to be broken. This works: http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp

Then type EA11R or EA21R into the search box and press Enter or Return on your keyboard.
