Speaker box Mark 1. Good fit, but poor finish. My first attempt at fibreglassing. Enclosed speakers are 2 x 5.25" Alpine SPR-13C coaxial and a JL Audio 10TW3 10" subwoofer. Powered by a JL Audio XD700/5 5 channel amplifier installed behind the passengers seat.
This was just one design I had in mind. It was difficult to get a material to cover it in that matched the textured plastic of the car. I got some suitable black textured vinyl but found it impossible to wrap it in one sheet due to its shape. Overall, i like the shape but due to the poor finish, I have designed a new box that should be easier to wrap. Mark 2 speaker box is almost complete. Pics to be uploaded soon.
