The special merit award must go to Toyota modeler Yasuhiro Yamashita, who found spare time away from his job with Japan’s No. 1 carmaker to design and hand-build this mini 911. The Puchische, meaning “puchi” (French for small) and Porsche, is a perfectly scaled down version of the legendary 911 body dropped on a Suzuki Cappuccino platform. Made out of carbon-fiber and FRP, Yamashita said his pet project cost over $30,000.
