I've bought some nice new number plates.
She used to have a long plate on the front. Which I thought didn't look right. So I opted for the same size as on the rear.
Instead of a GB or Euro sign on the left of the plate I found a company that would put the manufacturers logo on instead, with a red background to match the car colour too.
Also below the registration number you could add a sentence of your chioce. So I got them to put "SUZUKI CAPPUCCINO".
I think they look much better then the original plates, that were on it since it was first registered.

Nice new chrome Suzuki badge.

A closer look at the badge.
If you want one ask for part "suzuki-decal01".
These were fitted on the Suzuki Liana front wings by the dealers. The badge cannot be found on the spares list for the Liana.
Just ask for the above part. It cost me £6.94.

After enduring weeks of rubbing noises coming from the rear brakes. I finally had time to do a brake overhaul.

I bought new pads, discs & the slider seal kit.

You can see here the poor state of the rear discs. Pretty rusty!

The inside brake pads were down to the metal on both sides. With perhaps half the pad left on the outers.
The inside of the disks were even rustier.

Calipers off & ready for re-conditioning. All the old slider grommets were still in place & the sliders still slide in the caliper? :?
When I bought the car, the garage had to fit new hand brake cables to pass the MOT. I can only presume they tightened them incorrectly. Which caused my brakes to bind.

Nice shiny new discs fitted with new pads. Hand brake cables set up & tightened as per the maintenace manual.

No more noises from the brakes! Hurray :D

Next job, engine oil & plugs.
